الملخص
The topic of consumer behaviour towards drugs and analysis of determinants is an important issue related to the health of the individual directly. The purpose of this research is to analyse and measure the determinants of medical consumption in Irbil by using the questionnaire technique designed for this purpose as well as using the statistical program (SPSS) to measure the effect of these determinants. The study found several conclusions the most important of which is a positive relationship between the monthly income and the number of family members and the monthly expenditure on medication also the results showed an inverse relationship between the educational level and the monthly expenditure on medication. The research recommended several proposals to activate the role of the government in the control of pharmaceutical products.
