الملخص
The study aims to reveal the reality of the application of the concept of universal banking in improving the financial performance of the afidain and Al-Rasheed governmental banks, the Basra branch, to determine the employees’ perceptions of the dimensions of universal banking in these banks. One principal that (there is a significant effect relationship between universal banking and improving financial performance), and based on the analytical descriptive approach, the study adopted the simple random sampling method with the employees of Rafidain and Al-Rasheed Banks in Basra, 350 questionnaires were distributed and the number of retrieved questionnaires was ( 313 forms, while the valid for statistical analysis were (270) questionnaires with a response rate of 77 %), and various statistical means were used by means of (AMOS.V.23) and (SPSS.V.23).The study came out with results about the existence of a significant impact relationship between universal banking and improving financial performance, and based on these results, a set of conclusions and recommendations were formulated.
