الملخص

The research dealt with one of the most important important human resource management systems, which deals with the compensation system for workers, according to which the worker is granted compensation and rewards for his work, through the use of appropriate and modern compensation mechanisms instead of the traditional mechanisms in order to get rid of problems and complaints raised about it when calculating bonuses and promotions for workers, as it was targeted The research measures the possibility of applying these mechanisms using the Microsoft Access program at the University of Mosul, and in order to achieve that goal, the research adopted several hypotheses centered on the lack of awareness of the employees at the researched university about the mechanisms used to calculate the bonuses and promotions within the compensation system prevailing in it. The research also adopted the descriptive applied approach in presenting and discussing data, as the approach works to associate the description of the case with its analysis and draw conclusions about it. For the purpose of collecting data on the research problem, an examination form was used that was distributed to a sample of (65) employees at the University of Mosul, and with the help of a set of statistical methods, the data of the practical aspect was analyzed that included an analysis of the responses of the respondents at the University of Mosul, and the research concluded the necessity of activating the work of systems Compensation by using electronic technologies instead of current technologies, and in a way in which human resources management bypasses the complaints and failures associated with the prevailing technologies. The research also recommended the necessity for the administration of the researched university to continuously update and develop the information systems used within the human resources unit, and to interact with electronic programs and systems that would raise the level of performance and reduce the failures that may occur with it when calculating individuals ’employment benefits..
