الملخص

This study aimed at identifying the social role played by the Islamic banks that have been chosen in relation to their position and market value. Accordingly, four Islamic banks have been selected as their community activities were analyzed according to a report and data in this area. The results of the study showed that Islamic banks are fully aware of the importance of their social responsibility and reflected in the qualitative and financial contributions they provide. Throughout this study, we also noted that Islamic banks focus on their social responsibilities directed towards different groups of society in return for less attention to their responsibilities towards employees. We also noticed lack of community oriented projects outside the country, as well as the coordination and participation in the projects among Islamic banks.
