The agricultural sector is one of the main sectors in the Palestinian economy because of its relative importance, both in terms of contributing 3.8% of GDP in Palestine according to the optimistic scenario for 2016, or in terms of absorbing local labor by 6.4% for males and 6.8% for females during Fourth Quarter (October-December 2015) of the Total Palestinian Labor Force for 2015.
