Abstract

The research aims to evaluate the dimensions and indicators of sustainable transport by preparing checklists that include the dimensions and indicators of sustainable transport at the level of the sectors of the Ministry of Transport, and it was presented to a number of (executive directors) in various specializations and positions to obtain a technical opinion and amend the paragraphs according to the Ministry’s work tasks, in addition to presenting them Academics from various Iraqi universities were tasked with reviewing the checklist and calculating the size of the gap so that it could be employed, harmonious and consistent with sustainable transport. The results of the analysis of the checklists showed that the largest size of the gap was in the land and railway transport sector, where it reached (83.5%).
