Abstract

The study sought to highlight the extent to which the Authentic leadership contributed to managing organizational envy in some colleges of the University of Mosul. The importance of the current study is crystallized at the theoretical and field levels. As its value and originality emerged as an attempt to bridge the knowledge gap related to the study of the two variables of the study: (Authentic  leadership and management of organizational envy). As for the field level, it represents the first study, according to the researcher’s knowledge, that examined these variables to the higher education sector in Nineveh Governorate, as well as an attempt to address a real problem represented by the spread of negative work behaviors resulting from the emergence of organizational envy. Therefore, this study came as an attempt to contribute to diagnosing the extent of The possibility of authentic leadership in managing organizational envy by studying the relationship and influence between these two variables. 300) members of the teaching staff working in the colleges of the University of Mosul, and a set of tools and statistical methods were used in the study to analyze the practical side, represented by (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, response ratio, correlation coefficient, and analysis of correlation and impact) and this was done using SPSS V26 software to reach a conclusion. The numerical results of the study.
